Hello,

This Thanksgiving holiday, I am filled with gratitude to represent one of the most sought-after destinations in the world. Every year, we welcome millions of travelers who select our destination to make memories of a lifetime.

Orlando is expecting a busy Thanksgiving week, with our destination capturing the top spot for domestic holiday destinations, according to AAA. Leisure hotel bookings for this weekend are far outpacing last year, up by 13%. Traditionally for Orlando, hotel room night production ranks lower over the Thanksgiving holiday due to friends and family staying with relatives, so it’s good to see this positive increase.

Throughout the holiday season, Visit Orlando continues our consumer marketing campaigns as travelers are constantly thinking about future vacations. As you gather with family and friends, look for our Unbelievably Real campaign TV spots airing in 13 regional markets during the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade at 8:30 a.m. on NBC and Peacock.

In addition to being immensely grateful to live where the world vacations, I’m equally thankful for the exceptional team at Visit Orlando. Their hard work, commitment and passion inspire me every day. In their own words, I invite you to hear the pride and dedication they have for their work in this video: Visit Orlando Team Testimonials

I extend warm wishes and sincere thanks to our partners and members for your continued support and collaboration. We will resume our regular Tourism Matters newsletter next week, and I look forward to seeing you at our Year End Celebration Luncheon on Friday, December 8, at the Hilton Orlando.
