Happy Holidays

Hello,

On behalf of Visit Orlando and our tourism industry, we hope you are enjoying the holidays and spending quality time with family and friends.

Looking back on 2019, we certainly had many reasons to celebrate. New attractions and lands debuted at our theme parks, major expansions continued to enhance our lodging sector, Orlando International Airport topped 50 million passengers, and our overnight visitors generated strong levels of spending in our community.

At Visit Orlando, we feel fortunate to represent our entire destination in contributing to this success through a significant number of initiatives in sales, marketing, publicity, visitor services, member relations, global media campaigns and new technology.

Going forward, 2020 promises to be another exciting year, full of more new experiences for our guests that will keep them coming back. In tandem with our destination's growth, Visit Orlando will be rolling out innovative marketing campaigns that target leisure travelers as well as convention organizers to build awareness of the Orange County Convention Center's upcoming expansion.

We'll talk more about that, and many other topics, in upcoming editions of Tourism Matters, which will resume next week.

Until then, Happy New Year!

George Aguel
All the best.
