BUSINESS INSIGHTS FROM THE BEST
Orlando is the most popular destination in the U.S. for Brazilians and soon to be in receipt of daily nonstop service from the Middle East and its connections to India and China. Yet questions surrounding the impact that slower growth in these countries or the rising strength of the U.S. dollar exist. Americans are traveling in force and room night demand across Orlando and Central Florida continues to set new records. That said, will the 2016 presidential election
have an effect on the tourism industry?
I know a couple of guys who have their own perspectives about these kinds of topics. Steve Forbes, chairman and editor-in-chief of Forbes Media, and economist Anirban Basu will headline Visit Orlando's Business Insights Summit, presented by Emirates, on Aug. 20 at the Orange County Convention Center. They'll address critical issues in the global economy and offer their thoughts on how Orlando's business leaders might think about the future.
While keynote speaker Steve Forbes is a household name, Basu delivers a presentation on business outlook that's as entertaining as it is insightful.
Be sure to reserve your seat today. I look forward to seeing you there.
-George Aguel
